Hi sweetheart!!

well, I made a scarf yesterday. I used a scrap of rayon print from a frock and some yellow silk Brian brought back from China. I also surged all the edges to the outside so they are visible. The whole project was a blast. YA!

Brian spent most of the day with Seth on the Nautilus St. job site. More YA! I', going to try for an image to post. Will see if that works out. bye : )

and it is quite nice! want to refine a few things, for ex. it needs a pocket on the outside for my phone, well.... of course! (Q? why isn't that one word?)
So as I was saying, anything to avoid sewing garments, now it is MORE wallets... yikes.

I think it will actually work, I checked out Zakka Style from the library and am making the wallet/clutch. It will hold lots but the pattern was a little tough. that binding....wheew....

the class is over!!! decided not to go back.

I'm taking an art history class at San Diego Mesa College. Art History of the Asian Continent. I am so busy I can't even sew!

the remake is done : )

went to work on the remake of this tiny bag. added black all round and moved all the details. restrung the beads, restrung the coin with beads, and reattached the strap. so much fun. quilted the new front and the back with fusible fleece.
